Formed in 2014, Worship Circle has been growing as an online and in person mentoring community for worship leaders around the world. Their purpose is to let worship leaders know that they are loved and not alone. By using online small groups led by humble, servant mentors or "coaches"…Worship Circle creates a safe space for a leader to be heard, known, loved, and sharpened in the skills necessary to lead well with the platform God has entrusted to them.
The team began with Todd Fields and Christy Nockels and has since had other leaders join the team over the years to serve, love and teach including: Kim Walker Smith, Paul Baloche, Meredith Andrews, Charlie Hall, Jeremy Riddle, Tasha Cobbs Leonard, Kari Jobe, and Pat Barrett. Terms are for 6 months and leaders meet monthly online. The culmination of the online experience is celebrated annually at in in-person retreat called REST. Leaders then come to a member dinner thrown especially for them with the entire Worship Circle coaching team and the small group they’ve journeyed with online.
The Worship Circle Hymns project was recorded live on January 30, 2019 at the REST Retreat at Woodlands Camp in Cleveland, GA. The project was produced by Nathan Nockels.
